Essential Granola Seasoning
Ingredients
GROUP A: WET INGREDIENTS
1 tsp honey or maple syrup
1 tsp coconut oil, warmed and liquefied
GROUP B: DRY INGREDIENTS
1/2 tsp dried cherries/raisins/dates/dried apricots, roughly chopped
1/2 tsp sunflower seeds
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg powder
1/2 tsp chia seeds
1/4 tsp salt
6 almonds/hazelnuts/pecans, roughly chopped
Method
Mix Group A ingredients and set aside. Mix all Group B ingredients together. Toss in some oats and coat well with the seasoning mix, before cooking or baking.
